While working out in the garden in rural Freeburg near Covered Bridge Estates on Sunday May 11th, a bunch of cardinals took to flight, and a cute Peach-Faced Lovebird landed on her shoulder. Joyce put her finger out and it stepped onto her finger. It looks healthy, has been biting its foot (nerves?). Anyway, this bird is being kept in an old cage, waiting for its owner to look for it. Hopefully before Joyce gets too attached the owner will come forward.
If you or anyone you know is missing this bird, please be sure to call her at six-one-eight, two-three-three-one-two-three-eight. Thank you. (I am posting for my friend who is still on dialup!).
