A bird watcher found a Quaker parrot in a park in DeKalb on Thursday, May 10. Since we already own two Quaker parrots, the bird ended up with us for the time being.If you know anyone who is missing a parrot, have them contact us by e-mail or via the contact information in the photo below.We own and love birds so we will be able to quickly weed out any scammers. Anyone wanting to claim the bird will have to identify it with descriptors like: Age, name, sex, weight (in grams), disposition, favorite foods, any words or phrases it knows, particular characteristics about its beak, feathers, nails, etc.
