Bird is very hungry. Have been feeding it parakeet food. We have it in a small cage. This is an urgent matter because we are leaving town tomorrow 9/04. The bird was found in our gangway on the northwest side of Chicago–near Addison St. and Central Ave.
While I am gone on vacation, the cockatiel will be cared for by Linda ph 773.286.3098. I will let her know when I return on Sept 14 and take the bird back to my house if no one has claimed it by then.
The bird ‘s back is grey, its belly is white. Its head is yellow with a yellow crest and it has bright orange cheeks.
