I found a really tame, obviously handles and cared for pigeon at work on 7/19/2012.
Not exact as to the type but it is the kind seen as a racing/carrier/homing pigeon.
Has a band on one leg.
Bird appears to be in good health.
Is being fed and watered and cared for in Athens.
