Did anyone lose a small parrot??? (It’s been found!!!)

I was in a local pet shop yesterday afternoon, when a family brought in a sweet, obviously well cared-for small parrot they’d found. I suggested several times that someone post about it being found here on Craig’sList, as I’ve read many CL ‘success stories’ about families being reunited with their pets. No one ran for their computer or ‘smart phone,’ or even indicated they thought it might be a decent idea…but I did. I just got home and did what I was suggesting to the others…I’m willing to post about this, and to field any emails that come in from anyone thinking their lost bird just might be this one!

According to the guy/family that brought it in to the pet shop, it was found in the ‘Veteran’s Park’ area off ‘Hick’s Rd.’, in Hudson…I ‘believe’ I’ve got the general area ‘correct,’ or at least ‘close!’ If anyone has lost their small, ‘parrot-like’ bird, drop me an email with a description of your bird and perhaps a photograph, if you have one. If it sounds to me like this might be your bird, I’ll pass your information on to the guy who found it, or to the pet shop that’s keeping it for a ‘short time’ while they ‘hope’ the owner shows up. To be honest, I don’t hold out a lot of hope that the owner just ‘coincidentally’ happens to be a customer of this pet shop and just ‘happens’ by to check it out ‘just in case’ their missing bird got dropped off there…but then again, ‘hey,’ what do ‘I’ know, eh?

I guess it can’t hurt, though, to explore every possible scenario, and with a lot of luck and some ‘crossed fingers,’ maybe, just maybe, this might turn into one of those ‘success stories’ I mentioned. Good luck to all concerned!
