This bird was outside of my home from about 10 am until 5pm before I decided to go outside and try to interact with it. He landed on my head and I was able to get him into a hamster cage that I had laying around. He is yellow with orange cheeks and a distinctive black spot on one of his wings. he is unbanded, and nails untrimmed. He has a certain song that he sings, and Ive only heard him deviate from that song once. I do know that it is a male. He does not like to be handled by me or my boyfriend, im sure he is scared, although everyday he has gotten a little more comfortable with my hand, and a little less biting. I grew sad with him being crammed into a hamster cage and bought him a cage/food/cuttle bone/vitimans/millet/and toys from petco- so if hes yours, i promise that hes been in good hands. Unfortunately, I have two cats and this little guy would be alot better off at home and in a less stressful enviroment. Im doing my best. I have spoken to two families in the area, and it turns out that it wasnt theirs. If you think that this might be your bird, I will ask that you identify which wing the mark is on, and maybe a couple other questions….just to make sure he makes it back to the right place. Thanks alot, and please do not hesitate to send me a message or call if you have even the slightest thought that this might be your bird.
