Found a Budgie bird in front of my office door this morning (Gordon street Moncton). He is mostly green with some yellow on his face and a blue color on his “tail”. He was in front of my door and he wasnt moving much.. he appears to have had something happen to his right wing and tight… because he isnt putting any weight on that side.
I took him into my office and I will be calling the SPCA soon. I will update on here if I can bring him in.
Update 5:30pm – I brought him in to the SPCA. She said that it’s a male and it had it’s wings clipped. It seems as if something may have gotten it because there was dry blood under it’s wing. (so it may not have been that he hit a window flying). She said they will probably bring him to the vet to get it checked out but due to the fact that it’s a very small bird, probably nothing could be done for it…
He seems fine though, he was very cute. When I took him into my office this morning, I put him on the floor and he climbed up my sandal and stayed there for a while and fell asleep. I named him Gordie because he was found on Gordon street!
Hope his owner finds him or that he finds a good home!
