We’ve been trying to find the owners of this parrot for years and only recently was I introduced to this website. This bird is definitely a loving pet to us now. However, every day I try to find it’s rightful owner. There is a tag, but it is very hard to read. It is along the lines of: STG (numbers)
Over the two years, we treated the parrot like our own family. At first, the parrot was a baby but it grew. When first founded, it whistled already. Now it knows how to say HELLO, our dog’s name, and how to whistle piano notes, the fire alarm, the microwave, and different cellular beeps. OH and it loves bobbing head to music, especially when you sing to it. We posted flyers all around the town and two other neighboring towns but there was response.
Why didn’t we just give it to the animal shelter? They mostly deal with dogs and cats, I volunteer there and I know. Most pets that are found and brought there are never fully given the right time to find its owners and are sold.
Why don’t we keep it? The value my family always followed was to do the right thing until reason is found. We thought maybe the owners released the parrot but we don’t have proof.
All we want it to give the parrot to its rightful owners. We’re looking for you owners!
