There is an active found listing I placed for an African Grey Parrot (Congo) found in Seattle in July 2011. “Audrey” was with us for a little over a year. She started losing weight in the Fall of 2012 and eventually experienced a stroke and repetitive seizures and was euthanized in November. Her diagnosis (confirmed by tissue study at necropsy) was Proventricular Dilation Disease (PDD). She was a wonderful bird that I believe had been through much in her life. She was recovering some of her plucked and barbered feathers but had some areas that would remain bare. Necropsy report suggested she was even much older than we thought, perhaps in her 20s or older.
