Found parrot on back porch…..was lying on back but still alive. Put bird in box for safety (cats roaming free in neighborhood). Took to a few neighbors to inquire. Continued to look online for rescue info. and local vets. Tried to give it water with a straw….no luck. Found a vet to check bird. Was preparing to take bird, but it was dead. We placed bird in a woodland area by the lake under wild roses.
