I run a wild parrot rescue, and we were contacted by Pasadena Humane Society about this bird. They noticed its wings were clipped, but determined it to be wild due to how it was acting at the shelter. We disagree- this bird is not wild, and appears to be loved. I’m a little nervous that it may have been relinquished to the shelter as a “wild” bird to avoid paying fees, but I’m hoping that isn’t the case. Takes food from hand, very vocal, nails are a bit long so if it was an escaped pet, it hasn’t been outdoors for too long.
