Not sure about the exact date this amazon was first seen but it was around middle/later part of October. He has been coming to forage in the same area but we can not pinpoint where he goes to sleep at night which is making capturing him difficult. If you have lost a lilac crowned amazon in Hayward, Ca. Please contact me and I can tell you where he comes around. I volunteer with Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue and our folks are tying to help him come in out the cold but seeing his human family might help coax him down.
