I’ve found a peach faced lovebird in the Barrie area of Big Bay Point/Little Avenue. He/she is a green peach faced with a bit of an orange brow and maybe a bit of brownish-grey on his bib, and cute little black feet.
I took a drive today and asked around the neighbourhood and no one seems to know who this little guy belongs too. He/she is friendly, a bit nippy (but he may be scared), will step up willingly.
I currently have two lovebirds and an Amazon, so I will not be able to keep the little thing permanently.
He IS fully flighted, so I have no doubt he’s probably not from my area.
