This lovebird was found today in my friends backyard in the Vailsburg section of Newark. It was trying to get to her chicken feed. We caught it and I brought it to my home in South Orange, NJ. We will be taking it to the vet tomorrow morning to check for general health (may be dehydrated, but otherwise seems healthy) and microchip, as well as for help deciphering the code on the band.
