This little Budgie Parakeet was found at Terry’s Pizza in Georgetown, CA & is now at the Shannon Knox House & Learn The Beat Music Store. We believe it is a male, he is healthy, but was tired, hungry & thirsty when we brought him in. He has a Lemon Yellow head with baby blue tufts on his cheeks, a lime green body & silver wing tips, under his wings is turquoise & aqua. Timid little guy. He seems like his wings may be clipped, so we believe he’s not too far from home. No band, pretty small for a microchip, so I doubt he has one, but we will check, if no owner turns up soon. I am a vet tech so we will be holding onto him for now. If caring for him becomes a burden we will have a woman in Cameron Park, CA foster him that works closely with this website. We offered him a home made mix of seeds, herbs & fruit, fresh water, branches to perch on & a nest in a bird cage with newspaper, he seems content with a towel over the back half for him to feel more secure. He looks like he may be young & he is small. If you know the owner, or are the owner, please contact us.
