Cockatoo spotted at Woodlawn Dr. and County Road I at 12:30pm CDT in Mounds View, MN. He/she was sitting on our fence before flying away.

Back story: we have an Umbrella Cockatoo, so our neighbors called us when they spotted a Cockatoo on our fence, thinking that somehow our Cockatoo had gotten out. We rushed home, only to find that our Cockatoo was safely locked in her cage with the windows closed at the time and was definitely not the bird spotted outside on our fence. We confirmed with the neighbor that this was indeed a Cockatoo, similar in size to an Umbrella Cockatoo, on the fence, but have not been able to locate the bird since it flew away.

We will post updates if we are able to locate it again – we are looking!
