Found this little bird walking on the street, didn’t even flinch when a car drove past. I called to it and it hopped into my hand. I’ve gotten a crash course in bird care and have it housed safely in a cage of appropriate size while we try to locate the owner. It seems happy and friendly. It is being picky about what it will eat – it happily eats seed, but not liking roudybush. I will persevere. In the meantime, we are searching for the owner.
