This bird was found near the corner of Oso and Saticoy in Winnetka around noon on Sunday, June 26th. It was searching the concrete of our porch walkway for food. It seemed to have been out for a while (or a wild bird). We placed her in a cage, and she slept quite a bit. We believe she was a pet because she did allow us to pick her up. In this picture, she is puffing herself up, so she likely will appear bigger than she actually is.
