Found this bird on my back porch yesterday – wet and had a limp. Put him in a box to keep him safe and quite. He seems to be doing well as he escaped the box and flew to our window and was looking outside. I put him in a makeshift cage last night (hamper with some branches) and he became an escape artist and was back on the window this morning and now on my chandelier. I will be getting a cage for him today, but praying that the owners are looking for him. I was also told that a neighbor of mine found a yellow bird – looks like a finch – not sure if they are related or not?
