Found this bird huddled in the corner in front of my apartment. I’m not very knowledgable about birds or how to take care of them but reporting a sighting felt like the least I could do. The bird is about 5-7 inches long, gray, with a slightly lighter head than the rest of it’s body. It has orange tufts around the legs. Eyes are orange in color. Green coloration at the base of the tail. Beak is black, with a white stripe going right under the nostrils. The bird was sighted in front of the door at 1158 Wellesley Ave Los Angeles CA 90049. I’m just leaving it be for now, but I hope this helps the potential owner of the bird track it down. Wish there was more I could do, hope this helps!
