I am not the one who spotted the bird or who posted this on Craigslist. The person who posted reported that they spotted a lost cockatiel on the outside of the residential lofts at 154 Kalamazoo Mall, and that is was still up in a nearby tree at 1:55 PM. In addition, someone else from Kalamazoo responded to my own post for my lost cockatiel (from Brighton, MI), saying she had spotted a grey cockatiel on April 1, 30 feet up in a tree, in the cemetery on West Main Street downtown Kalamazoo. She said it looked mostly grey and that its feathers had a weathered appearance, as if it had been outdoors for some time. She spent some time calling to it until a hawk flew overhead and the cockatiel flew North/West. We do not know whether these are two different cockatiels or the same cockatiel. The one spotted on April 1 was apparently all grey, while the one in the Craigslist post looks like it could be pied (grey and yellow).
