This little guy was found on a bitterly cold day on someone’s back deck. The person who found it was going out of town and brought it the local nature center where I am the naturalist and curator of animals of a small zoo in Darien CT. S/he is a sweet, personable bird and I would love to reunite him/her with her family! The burgundy leg band is from a breeder out of state but on the east coast and the first 3 letters are GAR.
