This bird appears to be very tame. It landed on a fence next to my son who was playing basketball. My son offered it food and water and it happily followed my son into the garage where he proceeded to place it in a cage. It does not seem to be overly stressed by our small, hyper dog & cocktiel (in a separate cage) which leads me to believe it was a family pet. It has a band on it, but I cannot make out the letters or numbers.
