Found obviously-nervous parrot calling loudly in a tree on 9/26/13. Green, larger than an African Grey, smaller than most macaws.
Parrot is NOT recaptured as of 9/26/13. Have contacted animal control and should hear from them soon, but parrot is probably flighted and not yet desperate enough to approach strangers for assistance or food, so I’m not sure if animal control is going to be able to accomplish anything. Would like to try to find the owner quickly before something scares this bird away.
