I found this White Homing Pigeon lying in the gutter on Reseda Boulevard between Roscoe and Chase. This beautiful bird was either hit by a car or dragged by a car as she had oil on her head and left wing. She/he also lost her left leg (clean cut from the breast) from this accident. She/he had a band on her left leg but the ID of the band is missing (only upper and lower portion is present) and without that information, I can not trace the owner. On a positive note, she/he is no longer bleeding, has been resting indoors and has a great appetite. If I can not find the owner, I do have a gentleman who does White Dove Release which is looking to adopt he/she and care for he/she.
