I was wondering how to remove my listing, for the FOUND Congo African Gray in Vero Beach, Fl. Thankfully we have found his owner, an older lady that lives about a mile from where he was found. He belonged to her son who passed away in the fall.
Along with putting up found signs, I also asked everyone I spoke to. I had so many people tell me that if someone was missing their bird they would have listed it here, craigslist, etc.. I know their are still situations where people don’t have internet for whatever reason, have lost loved ones that could help them find their pet. Sorry about the run on sentences, babbling…
One of the teachers at my sons school remembered a couple neighbors with a parrot that ( or what she thought was a parrot) that would ring all the time. She went down and spoke with the lady and finally we found his owner, he is 6 yrs. old named Ziggy, and the lady that brings her to the grocery store and to the doctor/runs her errands told her she was putting up lost poster, internet posts (basically what I did for found) Needless to say she is looking for new help(I have helped her place an an ad) and she is as ecstatic to have Ziggy back, as he is to be back! We are doing everything we can to find his owner, someone out there is definitely missing him. I am praying his owner reads this site and will be reunited with their pet.
