Parrot was found in the Windsor Park, Bayside, Queens, NY area, near 73rd Ave. & Bell Blvd., apparently abandoned in a carrier inside a plastic shopping bag. She was then turned over to Feathered Friends by the finder. She is in excellent health, and we made her at home already. We will foster this bird for 30 days and then place her up for adoption through our usual process. If this bird may be yours, you will need to show us positive proof of ownership, and explain to us why the bird was left apparently abandoned. The bird is banded–positive proff wil include telling us the band number, which we are currently tracing.
