We observed a green budgie with a reddish brown leg band flying with a flock of blackbirds at Dr. Maze’s Farm in Redmond, WA. He looked healthy and appeared to have been assimilated into the flock. He was foraging with the blackbirds. The blackbirds were a mixed flock of red-winged and Brewer’s blackbirds. We were able to apporach within a couple feet, but not close enough to pick him/her up. . COuld not get photo.
