Please help!
On Saturday, August 18th, our sweet bird “Speckles” got loose from our home. She’s a grey and white cockatiel and can whistle the “Andy Griffith” theme song as well as chirp “Pretty Bird”. My children are devastated and sorely miss her as she has been part of our family for more than 9 nine years. She was last seen in the Las Lomas (Stone Oak) subdivision around the intersection of La Pena and El Suelo Bueno.
Markings: White head and face; grey chest and wings
Wings are partially clipped so she can fly, but not a great distance (~30 ft)
Because she was hand fed at birth and held often, she will most likely allow you to pick her up and perch on your finger if you approach her slowly.
