Tulip is 16, raised from baby. Bolted when stray dog came to kitchen door and door was slightly open. She is night blind (they may all be?) and when she tried to come down to me on my voice, the dog barked and she aborted the landing and spiraled over the house in the dark. She would have flown until she couldn’t any longer, because she couldn’t see to land. A neighbor heard her in a tree a block away.. So dd the hawks probably. We have been out looking day and night. She won’t come to a stranger’s voice, but can be delayed/calmed if you whistle Abba’s “Take a Chance on Me”. Any sighting or hearing info appreciated. She could be in bush, tree or walking about like a pigeon. Might be more likely to come to a white haired or blonde person. Her head and shoulders are gold, her belly is hot orange, her wings are green ending in cobalt blue. Her wings are not clipped, she (used to) stick like Velcro. She is used to nestling in women’s shirts. No band.
