On June 6, there was a fire in my home. My birds all escaped and we’ve recovered two of them. Our two maximillian pionus parrots (Loki & Lizzy) and two cockatiels (Albus & Sybil) are still missing. My pictures all burned, but the pictures below are a good representation. I don’t have much left after the fire, but I am offering a $100 reward for their safe return. The pionuses are mostly green, with plum colored feathers on their neck/chest and bright red vent feathers. Please zip me an email to d e w d r o p 1 2 2 1 @ y a h o o . c o m, if you have them or if you’ve seen them. The fire was on Inman Street, nearest cross street is Tunica. I’ve received calls from folks living on Ulric and also in Chesterton military housing who have seen the pionuses, so they’ve managed to travel over a mile since escaping. Please email me if you see them – I’m checking throughout the day and will respond quickly. Thanks so much!
