**FOUND BUDGIE AT HERITAGE PARK, CALGARY AB**
YOUNG BUDGIE WAS FOUND TUESDAY MORNING FOLLOWING SEVER THUNDERSTORM.
I know she must have been loved and I want you to know her story.
My name is Penny (20) and tuesday morning i found this little guy at heritage park starnded and near dead… I took it home and it was doing better, she even sang for me, I stayed up with your bird all night and only slept when someone else was sitting with her, I was so worried about her the first night… i called every exotic bird keeper in Alberta and when I couldn’t get a hold of them I looked up home breeders from British Columbia, i found the most amazing women, a retiered senior women named an Anne vanderramp from AKR exotic birds, she told me everything i needed to know to get her through the night, including emergancy feedings of watered down baby formula and yougart and honey. when morning came she was squawking and playing and even standing on her perch, my friend, allison a vet tech came over to see how she was doing, she said she was a miracle, we took her to pet land and I picked her up some handfeeding formula and warming bulb. we came home and again she cuddled on my chest keeping warm and eating away. sadly this morning she passed away at 12.14pm.. we gave her in to our local vet. But i did take photos of her while she was still happy and lively.
I am so sorry for your loss, but i did the best I could.
