Yesterday (Wednesday, May 31), a blue Parakeet flew into my apartment at the Horizons at Rock Creek complex. I picked up a cage and some bird food and he/she is safe, but I’d love to find the original owner. The parakeet has a band around its leg with a few numbers, but I haven’t been able to trace it back to anywhere.
