“Having had to chase down a couple of my pet birds (with happy endings fortunately) I was very, very happy to be a small part of getting Mr. Bird back home. I was going to reconfirm the happy ending this morning after I’d called Lori to make sure that all was well and it was indeed Mr. Bird. Lori said Mr. Bird would not get off her last night after they got home and the kids saw her. I knew this was a well treated and loved tiel, she stepped up for anyone at my house and would immediately put her head down for scritches – no biting, hissing or flapping.
Thank you and 911Parrot for all the help. One of the more disappointing notes to this is that both Lori and Beth ,the lady who’d originally found the bird, both called the Buffalo Grove police department asking about a found/lost bird and got no help at all. I’m sending the biggest hug possible along with this email to you and everyone at 911Parrot for what you do.”

Dominant/recessive (?) pied yellow cheek female found next to waterfall by swimming pool. Tame, steps up, likes scritches and is used to people/other birds. Is banded. Is at a foster location presently.
