I belong to the bird club The West Valley Bird Society. Rcv’d this in my e-mail today, Fri, 2/24/12. Just in case it hasn’t been posted here yet, I am supplying this information:

I’m sending this to the general membership in the hope that someone can help.
I received a call today about an African Grey that was found in Sunland. The person holding the bird doesn’t know
anything about bird care and speaks very little English (Spanish). She just wants to help get the bird back to its
owner. It apparently prefers men. If anyone is in or plans to be in the Sunland area and would like to help, let me
know and I’ll put you in touch with the person holding the bird. If we can get a picture to post, that would help.
She said it has a band on it’s leg. Hope to hear from someone.

* I will contact Carl by e-mail and offer my help as I am close to Sunland in Burbank. I will answer all verifiable inquiries about this bird. This would be so great to reunite the two.
