Hello.
I woke up to a loud bird call this am went to look to see what it was and saw a small bird in a tree grey body small/medium size yellow head and bright orange round markings on cheek with long black tail feathers underside. Don’t know if it is someone’s pet that flew out a window/got out but it is located in a tree behind 336 Saratoga St. East Boston. MA. 02128 close to Princeton St. It is a Cockatiel. It is frightened. There was a close call earlier with a red tailed hawk that land on a rooftop right under the tree where the bird is located. Please contact me asap if you are missing a pet bird. The bird does respond to whistling but won’t leave the tree. I put out some chopped up apples hoping to lure the bird over my deck.
