Parrot-type bird found (Jarvis/Wellesley), There is a medium sized parrot-type bird I have spotted hanging around the trees near my apartment building. It resembles a budgie in shape but it is much bigger, maybe 7″ high, and is light green/yellow all over with no other colouration or markings that I can see. I have not managed to lure the bird inside, and animal control will not come to collect a bird that is loose and not secured in a cage or in someone’s house.
