My boy Pascal slipped through the crack in my front door when I slipped out to check the mail yesterday morning at 11:40 AM in the Museum District of Houston. As an update after distributing 100+ flyers in the neighborhood, I have reason to believe he is still within a few blocks of my home at Ruth and Austin Streets.

• Pascal is exceptionally friendly, hand-tame, and recall trained: he should readily step up on your finger if you try to pick him up, and he will fly to you if you wiggle your index finger at him.
• He knows his name and may flock call back to you if he hears it.
• He will respond in kind to the following whistles: wolf whistle, cat call, and La Cucaracha.
• Due to my syringe-feeding him from the time he was four weeks old, he is so bonded to us humans that he may even fly down to land on your shoulder or head.
• He is by far the most gentle bird I have ever handled: he WILL NOT bite and rarely even playfully nibbles.

I’ve sent his photo to the Houston SPCA, the Humane Society, and Adventures in Birds. Additionally, I have shared similar “missing bird” posts in other Facebook groups as well as on Reddit and Craigslist. If you or anyone you know finds him, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would do anything to have him back.

REWARD PROVIDED.
