Phenix escaped approximately 2 weeks ago from a family member of his previous owner who was caring for him. His owner passed away on October 13th. I was contacted on October 14th. Me and a friend both chipped in and purchased the entire aviary including Phenix from the estate. The family says Phenix has been seen at various bird feeders in the area of Promise Land Rd. Just a couple miles east of Appomattox, VA. The last date of an actual sighting is unknown. Phenix is banded but the band number is also unknown. Phenix is friendly although we would like to put eyes on Phenix before he is approached. That way we may follow him if he flys off. The photos shown were taken from previous owners Facebook page. I have not even personally met Phenix yet. Please help me get hit him to safety.
