Found on Lakewood Ln just across street from Round Rock HS in Round Rock, TX. Flew from neighbor vehicle up into tree, then down to street. Very friendly, I know nothing about birds but was able to coax it onto my hand and it crawled onto my shoulder where it sat for a bit and then went into a carrier. Is safely in my bathroom in largest pet carrier I have, away from my cats & dog. Was thirsty but otherwise seems fine. Holding overnight, will reach out to bird rescue tomorrow – my house is not a good place for indoor birds, already care for 6 cats and a dog.
