Please help me find my sweet Nelson! There is a reward.
She is female, shy and quiet and is about 25 years old.
She is not a good flyer, but she still managed to get away.
She sometimes makes the sound an old flip-phone ringing tone for of a human making the “PHEW!” sound.
She will step up when you offer her your left arm/wrist with the ‘step up’ command and she responds to her name.
She was so frightened when she launched herself from my arms that despite my repeated calling of her name, and looking for hours high and low, she never answered. I heard her briefly make her cell phone sound one time but nothing more.
I’m very worried because she is currently on medication. I have combed my neighborhood area repeatedly and put up flyers to no avail.
Nelson was pretty much cage-bound the first 20 or so years of her life. I have enjoyed her company for a little over 3 years and during that time I discovered she is female. She was just learning to fly, so her flight feathers were clipped. She loved being outdoors in my “bird backpack” when the weather was mild.
I miss her dearly!!!
