We got Scarlett back!
We located Scarlett Monday morning, and stayed with her all day and night. She was scared to let go of the branch she was clinging to, and finally Tuesday early evening, we were successful that endeavor. She is recovering lost body mass at home. Thank you to all who cross posted and informed their networks. What a wonderful community we have!

She is approximately 12 inches tall. About a half a pound in weight. Silver grey body, white face, black beak. Red tail. Lost 6:30 am 7/24/2011. Answers to Scarlett. Whistles “Sleigh Ride” wolf whistles, belches impressively and says “Gawd damn it” in a gutteral voice. Also says, “Whatcha doin’ Scarlett?” “Are you a goofy girl?” “Did you have a shower?” “You smell gooood” She will step up willingly when she’s on the ground. Sociable and talkative bird. Thank you so much!
