Lost Male American Kestrel.
Is wearing brown anklets and has yellow “jesses” (thin cord) hanging from the anklets. Has a black USFWS band as he is a falconry bird and registered to me. If you see him he will probably fly down to you if you wear a brown gardening glove and whistle twice while holding your hand in the air and shaking it a bit. If he does fly to you slowly bring you other hand up and grasp the cords hanging down. If he doesn’t then please call the WI DNR at (888) 936-7463 and they can get in touch with me.
If you spot him, please include a picture if possible and report your location and time/date you saw him. I’m very worried about him so any information will be helpful. Thank you.
