The bird seems fine so far, doesn’t seem hurt but I am not knowledgeable about birds. This bird flew to my hand as I opened my hatchback to unload the back of my car. It was very easy to catch it so I thought he might be thirsty since it was hot and I offered it water and he drank some. The vet had never checked a bird for a chip but the detector did not find anything as I held the bird for it.
