SEPT 6-15 I’m sorry to report that Zeke will not be coming home. His feathers were found in a little backyard garden 3 blocks from here. He was a smart, sweet, beautiful and beloved bird. He will be dearly missed. I want to thank everyone who offered support and help especially 911 PARROT ALERT and Carol Kessler, Christine Vegas Rose. The service you provide to parrot guardians who have lost their dear birds is commendable. You gave me help and hope when I felt lost and scared. Thank you again so much. I’ll leave you with one of my favorite photos of Zeke, taken of him looking out my kitchen window Suzanne Coulombe
15 year CAG male “Zeke” lost Sept. 02-15 approx 9pm. San Francisco Richmond district, California St. x 17th Ave. Identifying characteristics: A few of Zeke’s tail feathers are partially gray. One of the wing feathers on his right wing was surgically removed so there would be a gap. I think it was 3rd or 4th feather. Talks up a storm and makes lots of sounds. If offered food from your hand will sometimes say “No” unless it is a peanut.
